Dr. Will Horsley is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the White Memorial Medical Center and residency training with Tulane University in New Orleans (the Harvard of the South). His anterior segment fellowship was with Bill Harris and Wes Herman in Dallas, Texas. This included refractive surgery and cataract with lens implant surgery, as well as many other eye surgical procedures. Dr. Horsley completed a LASIK Fellowship with Dr. Mitchell Jackson/Moria Precision Instruments.

Dr. Horsley has completed educational training of the International Society of Refractive Surgery's Global Refractive Surgery Education Program (GLORY) in LASIK didactic and LASIC wetlab which is a prerequisite to the Joint LASIK Board Certification Program with the American Board of Eye Surgery

Dr Horsley was the first eye surgeon in Massachusetts, to be board-certified in the field of refractive surgery (LASIK and Laser Vision correction) by the American Board of Eye Surgery (ABES). He is also certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr Horsley is co-founder and medical director of the Viewpoint Laser Center, the first freestanding laser vision center on the North Shore. Other staff affiliations include the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Winchester Hospital, Hallmark Hospital (a merger of Melrose-Wakefield, Lawrence Memorial, Malden, and Whidden Hospitals), the Cataract and Laser Center in Andover, Tufts Medical Center, Viewpoint Laser Center and the Clinton Hospital. He is in private practice with offices in Stoneham, Massachusetts and South Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Dr. Horsley has been performing refractive surgery for over 18 years and has performed more than 4,000 refractive procedures, including LASIK, PRK, radial keratotomy,Intra Ocular contact lens (ICL), clear lensectomy and lens implants and astigmatic keratotomy. Dr. Horsley has performed more than 20,000 microscopic eye surgeries. Dr. Horsley has helped introduce many innovations to the New England area, including RK & AK, Extracapsular Cataract and Phacoemulsification Cataract techniques with Posterior Chamber Lens Implants. Dr. Horsley was and is an early proponent of Instant Vision Cataract Surgery done with topical anesthetics, clear corneal incisions and suturless. He was an early advocate & performer of Clear Lensectomy with lens implant for extreme hyperopia. Also Dr. Horsley is trained certified and waiting to be one of the 1st in New England to perform the ICL when the FDA approves it. Currently Dr. Horsley has surgical privileges in the Dominican Republic and Mexico to perform cases for patients who don't want to wait.
